Art is not canceled

Spring time in the Central Cambria School District means many things to our community.  For athletes, it's the start of new seasons.  For seniors, it's the last of their precious memories walking the halls and preparing for the next chapter.  For teachers, it's a chance to appreciate another year's worth of efforts and growth.

In the past 5 years the annual Spring Student Art Exhibit has become another sign of the season at Central Cambria.  So it was with disappointment to learn that schools, (and galleries), would be ordered closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the weeks that would follow, we all learned new ways to communicate, learn, and create.  To that end, the visual arts department at Central Cambria would like to share some of the outstanding work that our students have created this year.  Their efforts and talents should not go unrecognized

We thank the students, teachers, staff, administrators, and parents who continue to support the arts in our community, and we hope this will help to remind everyone how essential it is to nurture our "makers".

Please enjoy this digital version of the 2020 Central Cambria Spring Student Art Exhibit. Stay safe, and we look to seeing you all again in the CC Gallery next year.
